CAISAP is pleased to announce that it is an Approved Continuing Education Provider for CFRE.
CFRE stands for Certified Fund Raising Executive. There are many advantages to having this professional designation, both for yourself and for your school. Obtaining the CFRE certification requires a combination of practical experience, tenure, education, volunteer work and professional development. Once the CFRE certification is obtained, it is good for three years. After this time, you must recertify.
Beginning in 2010, candidates for initial certification AND recertification will require at least 50% of their continuing education credits to be obtained from a certified provider. Many CAISAP members are limited by geography and budget to attending CAISAP conference or PD days. Consequently, the executive decided to apply to CFRE International to become an approved provider.
